Amanda Jasnowski Pascual’s work has a discernible voice which reveals itself through any medium. Somewhere between fashion and documentary her work is often described as playful and honest, conjuring a sense of intimacy in the viewer that she’d argue was there all along. Drawing inspiration from the everyday, her work democratizes creativity as a way of seeing, attainable to all. From there her work aims to hold up a mirror, to nudge the viewer into their own curiosity, to celebrate and explore ones sense of self. Although her creative history begins primarily in photography her practice continues to unravel into other mediums such as video, writing, textile and sculpture.
