Adam Powell is a British photographer and director based in New York.
Known for his graphic compositions and playful use of flash, Powell's work challenges visual expectations through his experimental use of perspective, scale, and in-camera illusion. Through stark lighting and exaggerated setups, familiar scenes are reframed with a sense of absurdity and unease; producing images that feel both hyperreal and eerily artificial.
Clients include Marc Jacobs, Diesel, High Snobiety, GQ, i-D, The Face and The New York Times.
